Instead of focusing on the negative trends of waste, I found a relevant and inspiring statistic on UW's recent compost initiative to predominantly provide eco cups. In doing so, UW has saved 150,000 cups every year from entering a landfill. I used recycled compostable cup material for the construction of this project.
